MACP in MPS

In Millbury, our ACP Mission is "Opening the Door to Each Child's Future....so All Students Can Open Doors for Themselves!".  We want each graduate from MPS to be prepared to successfully embark on the next step in their journey - whether they pursue a four-year degree, a technical degree, receive training within the workforce or pursue military training.  Ultimately, the K-12 journey is only part of their path, and education & learning will be a requirement of their continuing endeavors.  We are committed to ensuring our students have the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to be FUTURE-READY!

Our Story

Logo featuring a bold maroon letter "M" topped with a black graduation cap, symbolizing education and achievement. In the Spring of 2023, Millbury Memorial Junior-Senior High School applied for and was granted the opportunity to become a MyCap district.  Our participation in this program provided early access to professional development, software, and updates as the system was developed at the state level.  Time and resources continue to be dedicated to building a MACP system that will be in full implementation by the 2023-2024 school year.  District strategic planning continues to support the development of our Future-Ready work as we refine our academic and career planning,  develop metrics, and scale innovative practices.
